Trophy Elk Hunting

For over 36 years, one of this country’s largest elk populations remained unhunted on a private ranch in Southern Colorado. Located in the San Juan Mountains on the Colorado, New Mexico border, Banded Peak Ranch encompasses some of the best and most beautiful elk habitat in the west. Over the past decades the ranch has dedicated itself to the preservation and restoration of the wild species and habitat within its borders. As part of the management effort, the ranch is now offering limited elk hunting. A limited number of fortunate hunters each year are able to hunt this pristine land with an estimated 3000-4000 head of wild elk.
